Wine and art dinner at the Silos!

The artists of the Silos invite you to a 5-course dinner party! Studio tours begin at 6 pm, with sparkling wine and passed hors d'oeuvres. At seven, we will be seated for a five course dinner with matched wine selections for each course. This event is limited in attendance and tickets are available at the link above and cost $100.

We will rotate studios after each course so you can experience the art and ambiance of different studios. After dinner, you are free to mingle and check out any remaining studios. The Chef, Soren Pedersen, is a fixture in the culinary art scene of Houston.

The menu:

Passed Horsdeuvres and Sparkling Wine:
Shaved Filet Mignon on Dark Rye with Fig Chutney and Grain Mustard
Eggplant Confit with Feta Cheese on Pita with Stewed Olives
Grilled Chicken on Roasted Apple with Broccoli Pesto

1st course:
Pan Seared Lobster Dumpling
With Citrus Salad, Spiced Aioli and Fresh Greens
Paired with selected Chardonnay

2nd Course:
Chilled Asparagus Bisque
With Smoked Quail – Wild Scallion Salad
Paired with selected Sauvignon Blanc

3rd Course: 
Venison Carpaccio
With Sweet Pepper Confit, Amish Blue and Arugula Pesto
Paired with selected Pinot Noir

4th Course: 
Pepper Crusted Filet Mignon
With wild Mushroom Risotto, Crispy Leek – Tasso Salad
And Dried Cherry Pan Jus
Paired with selected Barbera

Dessert: 
Warm Triple Chocolate Cake
With Raspberry Compote and Almond “Glass”
Paired with Sparkling Muscato
